Want to escape the traffic Google Maps help!
Google Maps is about to receive a new feature that tells you the likelihood of catching traffic on a particular route you set.
The functionality is similar to how the 'Popular Times' works, where Google tells you what times certain locals (such as museums) have greater adherence. In the case of Maps, when creating a route, a small graphic that tells you the hours of greatest traffic appears.
At the moment it is only present in Android but it should not be long until this new functionality reaches iOS in the near future.
