Nio's EP9 breaks Lamborghini's speed record

Electric cars continue to impress and are increasingly removed from the myth that they are not able to offer strong emotions through speed.

 

 

MotorTrend tells NIO that the EP9 completed a lap at the iconic Nurburgring track with the time of 6:45: 9, precisely 6.11 seconds less than the Lamborghini Huracan Performance that held the fastest production car title.

 

Although there are several variables to take into account, it is still a remarkable time and a demonstration of what electric cars can do these days.
