EVA a clever bra that detects breast cancer
Only this year will be diagnosed 1.7 million women with breast cancer. That's how the video featuring EVA begins, a smart bra created by Julian Rios Cantu, an 18-year-old student from Mexico who plans to detect breast cancer early.
"EVA is a biosensor network that covers the entire woman's breast, measures temperature data, analyzes it, and sends information to an application on any computer. As soon as there is a malformation in the breast or a tumor, there is excess vascularity, so when the greater flow is the blood flow the higher the temperature, "Rios Cantu explains.
This smart bra was the grand prize winner of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) where 13 other students attended, Rios Cantu earn about 20 thousand dollars.
